Lovely night.

Kids are already sleeping and I am still here updating my blog while hubby is downstairs counting his tools that he currently bought from Sears. Maddie wanted to help count but it's too late already and the two didn't take a nap today. So, now they went to bed earlier than usual. That's a good thing though. Now I can relax and surf a little bit before going to bed. Have a wonderful night all.

Free meal at Rodizio's.

I have a free meal for Rodizio's brazilian grill from Remax and I am very excited to go and try there food except that hubby is not excited about it. In fact, he said that he doesn't want to go. Anyway, let's see. Maybe I'll go with some friends.

Last night, we went to Sear's and I bought some clothes that are on sale. What a good savings for me and the kids too. Hubby bought some tools too for his collections. Have a good day all.

Work It

After moving to Texas, I went online to find texas electricity providers in Woodway. Another thing I need to do now that I am here is find a good gym. I am addicted to working out. It is my release from the busy and stressful days that I often face. Once the kids are tucked away in their beds, I sneak out for a little time for myself. It is usually pretty late when I go to the gym, so I need to find a place that has late hours or is open 24/7. Most find it crazy that I go to the gym when half the world is gearing down from the day. Instead this is my time to amp it up and burn off some steam. There are nights when it is really hard to find the motivation to go work out. By 9pm, it is pretty easy to be tempted by the TV, a hot bath, or the bed. Usually I resist these temptations, pack my bag, throw on my running shoes, and head out the door.

What a day.

A friend of hubby sold a car and he bought it for his brother. We went to pick it up last Saturday and I drove it home. It is not a bad car for it's price. The engine runs well. All it needs is a paint job for being a 13 year old car. Anyway, hopefully it will work for his brothers especially driving back to California. Have a good afternoon guys.

Our Family Home

My wife and I love our home. We have lived in it for over twenty years and we raised all of our children here. We feel lucky to have had the chance to live in our dream home. When we first moved in it was a small house, and over the years we were fortunate enough to add on. Our first renovation was to convert the garage to an extra bedroom after the birth of our first son. Next we put in an in ground pool a few years later. Over the years we added better appliances and did other small jobs around the place and little by little it got much nicer. It was so nice that the home grew with our family and we are really sentimental about it. A few of our friends have suggested that we move further south for retirement but we could never sell our home. One thing we did do to protect ourselves is get ADT Keego Harbor. We feel that a home alarm system gives us the peace of mind we need in our beloved home.

Back to Denver.

Here we are back here in the snowy state, denver. It has been snowing in here and very cold. How I wish we have stayed one more week in California. There it feels like summer. It was even hot for Maddie and JArod but perfect for me. You can even wear just t-shirt inside the house. Anyway, outside is freezing cold. We are in the 30's and snow melting outside. Hopefully, this coming will be a little warmer so that we can do something outside. Have a good day all.

Manhattan BEach.

Maddie had a blast at the MAnhattan beach this afternoon. We walked to their pier are and at the end saw the Aquarium. Also, Jarod enjoyed his walk. Going back to the car. Maddie and I went down the pier and played in the sandy beach. MAddie took some sands in her little container to take home. It gets really chilly later that we decided to go home and maybe come back tomorrow if there is still time because we have to get ready to go back to Colorado. We are leaving early because there might be a snow storm coming the day after tomorrow. Maddie love it here and so is JArod. Have a wonderful holiday all.
