Back to Denver.

Here we are back here in the snowy state, denver. It has been snowing in here and very cold. How I wish we have stayed one more week in California. There it feels like summer. It was even hot for Maddie and JArod but perfect for me. You can even wear just t-shirt inside the house. Anyway, outside is freezing cold. We are in the 30's and snow melting outside. Hopefully, this coming will be a little warmer so that we can do something outside. Have a good day all.

Manhattan BEach.

Maddie had a blast at the MAnhattan beach this afternoon. We walked to their pier are and at the end saw the Aquarium. Also, Jarod enjoyed his walk. Going back to the car. Maddie and I went down the pier and played in the sandy beach. MAddie took some sands in her little container to take home. It gets really chilly later that we decided to go home and maybe come back tomorrow if there is still time because we have to get ready to go back to Colorado. We are leaving early because there might be a snow storm coming the day after tomorrow. Maddie love it here and so is JArod. Have a wonderful holiday all.

Going to the beach.

Maddie has been asking to see the beach here in California. We thought of going yesterday and today but there are unavoidable situations. Maybe tomorrow again we'll try. Last week, my mom took us to disneyland and MAddie had a blast. She was really having fun meeting the princesses. Also, Jarod enjoyed it but not as much as Maddie. We went home in the evening tired and exhausted that they felt asleep in the car. All day of walking. Who is not going to get tired. Anyway, we didn't finish seeing everything in Disneyland. Not even half of it. We might come back again when they are a bit older. So that they can appreciate it well. Good night guys.

Yummy food.

My mom invited us to eat in a Filipino restaurant here in Artesia, California. We went there and ordered some Filipino dish. Mostly grilled fish. I ordered tuna filet and it was very good. Even hubby liked it. Also Maddie ate some beef soup. I might go back again before heading back to Colorado if there is time. Later this afternoon, we took Maddie and Jarod to the park. Maddie loves biking around the park. It was her firs time biking that long distance and she was really doing so good. I am proud of her. We plan of taking her again while we are still here in California. Have a wonderful night all.

YOUR BAGEL?

We upgraded our internet and cable tv packages recently and I have really enjoyed staying in touch with friends and family through a new blog that I created. I am using the website blogspot.com. It is much easier than I ever expected. It is easy ( now that I have a faster internet connection) to upload pictures and videos to my blog. I have gotten to where I update it daily. A funny thing happened to me the other day. For some reason, my spell check on the computer got turned off. It usually will underline misspelled words in red. I was writing a bit about our beagle, Henry, who I sewed an awesome Santa Clause costume for. For some reason, I was typing really fast and didn’t proofread my work. The headline read, “ Cute Outfit for Our Bagel”. I didn’t realize that throughout the blog post that I was calling my beagle a bagel until my mom called me on the phone and was giggling about it. I was pretty embarrassed, but mistakes happen. Next time, I will be sure to proofread my work.

Our Christmas tree is up.

Hubby, Maddie and I are putting together our Christmas tree and it is done. I am going to take picture late to post here. It was nice and simple. Now, we are wrapping gifts for the kiddos. Hopefully, they are not going to open it before Chrismas. You know kids they don't have patients in waiting especially gifts. Enjoying the day.
