Hubby called early in the morning to greet mommy a happy mother's day and Maddie responded "oh, that is my favorite holiday in the whole world". Hubby said I hope it's a holiday. She is really a sweetheart. Anyway, we all got up really early today because the two kiddos are up early. We ate our breakfast and played a little bit then decided to sleep again. By the time we woke up it was noon already. What a day to start. So late..

My three years old daughter wants to have her birthday celebrations in Boondocks Fun Center. She was already telling her friends and relatives that she is going to have a birthday party. Though my husband didn't plan of having a party but grandma of course will give her a party she wanted. Grandma always gave her a birthday party. Last year we had a great time with friends and family celebrating her birthday in a restaurant. But now that she is a little older she wants to have fun with games and rides. My role now is to organize the party. Make sure of course to send those very nice and colorful birthday invitations. Kids likes to see pictures in every invitations and so I have to put that in mind. We are definitely hooked with watching Netflix even daddy. He love his How it's made show. That is his favorite show so far. This Netflix keep us entertain without having a Comcast tv. What an idea. I am so glad we can get our TV service through Direct.tv. I was really lucky to convince my wife to switch over to the service this month. I have gotten to watch nearly every March Madness game this year because of it. Before, I think we had 15 or 20 channels, but I am not completely sure. They were all local channels and there definitely was not much of a choice of what to watch. With our TV service now, I can watch every game I want to in the tournament. It has been such a good year. There were just so many upsets! I mean, I thought teams like VCU would make it a little further. And I still cannot believe Georgetown got out so early! That is the best thing about the tournament, I think. You just never know what is going to happen and who is going to win. Some school I had never even heard of knocked Duke out. Could you have even imagined that happening? It is so entertaining to me. Obviously my wife does not care too much about the games, but she sure enjoys the TV service we have now when the games are not on.

Kids are already sleeping and I am still here updating my blog while hubby is downstairs counting his tools that he currently bought from Sears. Maddie wanted to help count but it's too late already and the two didn't take a nap today. So, now they went to bed earlier than usual. That's a good thing though. After moving to Texas, I went online to find texas electricity providers in Woodway. Another thing I need to do now that I am here is find a good gym. I am addicted to working out. It is my release from the busy and stressful days that I often face. Once the kids are tucked away in their beds, I sneak out for a little time for myself. It is usually pretty late when I go to the gym, so I need to find a place that has late hours or is open 24/7. Most find it crazy that I go to the gym when half the world is gearing down from the day. Instead this is my time to amp it up and burn off some steam. There are nights when it is really hard to find the motivation to go work out. By 9pm, it is pretty easy to be tempted by the TV, a hot bath, or the bed. Usually I resist these temptations, pack my bag, throw on my running shoes, and head out the door.

What a day.

A friend of hubby sold a car and he bought it for his brother. We went to pick it up last Saturday and I drove it home. It is not a bad car for it's price. The engine runs well. All it needs is a paint job for being a 13 year old car. Anyway, hopefully it will work for his brothers especially driving back to California. Have a good afternoon guys.

My wife and I love our home. We have lived in it for over twenty years and we raised all of our children here. We feel lucky to have had the chance to live in our dream home. When we first moved in it was a small house, and over the years we were fortunate enough to add on. Our first renovation was to convert the garage to an extra bedroom after the birth of our first son. Next we put in an in ground pool a few years later. Over the years we added better appliances and did other small jobs around the place and little by little it got much nicer. It was so nice that the home grew with our family and we are really sentimental about it. A few of our friends have suggested that we move further south for retirement but we could never sell our home. One thing we did do to protect ourselves is get ADT Keego Harbor. We feel that a home alarm system gives us the peace of mind we need in our beloved home.

Here we are back here in the snowy state, denver. It has been snowing in here and very cold. How I wish we have stayed one more week in California. There it feels like summer. It was even hot for Maddie and JArod but perfect for me. You can even wear just t-shirt inside the house. Anyway, outside is freezing cold. We are in the 30's and snow melting outside. Maddie had a blast at the MAnhattan beach this afternoon. We walked to their pier are and at the end saw the Aquarium. Also, Jarod enjoyed his walk. Going back to the car. Maddie and I went down the pier and played in the sandy beach. MAddie took some sands in her little container to take home. It gets really chilly later that we decided to go home and maybe come back tomorrow if there is still time because we have to get ready to go back to Colorado. We are leaving early because there might be a snow storm coming the day after tomorrow. Maddie love it here and so is JArod. Have a wonderful holiday all.

Maddie has been asking to see the beach here in California. We thought of going yesterday and today but there are unavoidable situations. Maybe tomorrow again we'll try. Last week, my mom took us to disneyland and MAddie had a blast. She was really having fun meeting the princesses. Also, Jarod enjoyed it but not as much as Maddie. We went home in the evening tired and exhausted that they felt asleep in the car. All day of walking. Who is not going to get tired. Anyway, we didn't finish seeing everything in Disneyland. Not even half of it. We might come back again when they are a bit older. So that they can appreciate it well. Good night guys.

My mom invited us to eat in a Filipino restaurant here in Artesia, California. We went there and ordered some Filipino dish. Mostly grilled fish. I ordered tuna filet and it was very good. Even hubby liked it. Also Maddie ate some beef soup. I might go back again before heading back to Colorado if there is time. Later this afternoon, we took Maddie and Jarod to the park. Maddie loves biking around the park. It was her firs time biking that long distance and she was really doing so good. I am proud of her. We plan of taking her again while we are still here in California. Have a wonderful night all.

We upgraded our internet and cable tv packages recently and I have really enjoyed staying in touch with friends and family through a new blog that I created. I am using the website blogspot.com. It is much easier than I ever expected. It is easy ( now that I have a faster internet connection) to upload pictures and videos to my blog. I have gotten to where I update it daily. A funny thing happened to me the other day. For some reason, my spell check on the computer got turned off. It usually will underline misspelled words in red. I was writing a bit about our beagle, Henry, who I sewed an awesome Santa Clause costume for. For some reason, I was typing really fast and didn’t proofread my work. The headline read, “ Cute Outfit for Our Bagel”. I didn’t realize that throughout the blog post that I was calling my beagle a bagel until my mom called me on the phone and was giggling about it. I was pretty embarrassed, but mistakes happen. Next time, I will be sure to proofread my work.

Scheduled for my interview today and I passed. Thanks God for everything. Hubby took a day off from work just to drive me to my interview. Good job hubby. I can really count on you in everything. After the interview we went to eat at Dave's Barbeque and it was delicious. Maddie liked it too.

Now, we are at home relaxing. Watching TV and eating a homemade kettle popcorn by hubby. What a wonderful day and wonderful blessings in life.

When I moved to a new town I was really worried about not knowing anyone and having to deal with people who didn’t know anything about me. It’s been a hard road these last few months but I can tell you one thing, this whole move has brought me closer to my family which is such a good thing! I love being able to bond with my children in this new way and since they’re a bit older now I’m able to communicate with them better. Even my husband and I have been more consciously spending time together which means a lot of things to me, but mostly that things are on the right track. I still haven’t found work so my days are spent with things like the laundry and looking on www.homesecurityfamily.com and dealing with the gardener but you know, I kind of like it around the house. Maybe the life of a stay at home mom is exactly what I’ve been looking for all this time and I’ve found it!

It has been so cold lately that the furnace is always on at 70 degrees. Imagine the bill for this month. It's just that I have not been adjusted to this winter weather. Soon, I will before we got broke. LOL. Anyway, Maddie seems to have a runny nose since yesterday and JArod just when he woke up. Hopefully, they will feel better and not get worse. It's cold, cold, cold. It's the first snow of the year. It's a little earlier this year than last year. It happen before the Halloween. Anyway, it's quiet cold in here even with the heater on.
