We have lived in it for over twenty years and we raised all of our children here. We feel lucky to have had the chance to live in our dream home. When we first moved in it was a small house, and over the years we were fortunate enough to add on. Our first renovation was to convert the garage to an extra bedroom after the birth of our first son. Next we put in an in ground pool a few years later. We walked to their pier are and at the end saw the Aquarium. Also, Jarod enjoyed his walk. Going back to the car. Maddie and I went down the pier and played in the sandy beach. It gets really chilly later that we decided to go home and maybe come back tomorrow if there is still time because we have to get ready to go back to Colorado. I have gotten to where I update it daily. A funny thing happened to me the other day. For some reason, my spell check on the computer got turned off. It usually will underline misspelled words in red. I was writing a bit about our beagle, Henry, who I sewed an awesome Santa Clause costume for. For some reason, I was typing really fast and didn’t proofread my work. The headline read, “ Cute Outfit for Our Bagel”. I didn’t realize that throughout the blog post that I was calling my beagle a bagel until my mom called me on the phone and was giggling about it. I was pretty embarrassed, but mistakes happen. We left home at about four in the afternoon and stopped by the CAstle Rock outlet. We wanted to check out on some sales on the Coach bag but we didn't like it much. I have already bought three new bag for this year and that is probably just enough. Anyway, we got to the balloon festival at about 6:15 pm and we found a very good parking. Lucky us. After, cars we're arriving and it would have been hard to find a good parking. There were lots of people. We decided to roam around and got some freebies. Also, we got to eat a big and tasty turkey leg. So yummy but was too much. Later, when it was dark the balloon glow started and it was nice, fun but Maddie got scared of the noise. Good thing my friend Sharon was there to carry her. We left the place at about 9pm and were looking for an open restaurant to eat dinner. We ended up eating in Chili's. It was kind of late already that the kiddos are started having tantrums. So, we have to hurry home. All in all it was a nice time with friends. Looking forward to this weekends activities again with friends.
